Training of Trainers concludes under Himayat-DDUGKY

JAMMU DEC 3: A 3-days Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop organized by Himayat Mission Management Unit (HMMU) in collaboration with National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR) under HIMAYAT-DDUGKY concluded today.
Around 25 participants of 12 Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) participated in the training session in order to enhance the capacity of the trainers, who have been recruited to run various vocational courses operational under Himayat programme in J&K.
While addressing the gathering, Chief Operating Officer, Himayat Mission Management Unit, JKSRLM, Kapil Sharma urged the participants to avail the maximum benefits from the training program and stressed for using skills acquired for improving the quality of the HIMAYAT program.
"The ultimate success of this program would be in meeting global standards of skilling and providing placement for our pass-outs under Himayat", he added.
Resource person from NIRD and PR, Pooja Shaw explained in detail the features of the training program and focused on the issues confronting the skilling ecosystem. She elaborated on the different facets of the training and asked the trainees to implement the learning in their respective organizations.
