Mayor starts black topping works in Shiv Nagar area

JAMMU, Dec 4: Continuing the drive to provide better development as well as basic amenities to the people of Jammu, Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation today on 04/12/2019 started the black topping of various road at lower shiv nagar area of ward no.33 which was the long pending demand of the residents of that area as the said road was in deteriorated condition since long and school going children as well as general public have to face lot of difficulties while walking on this road.
The work being executed by the public works department in presence of engineers, contractor and Surinder Choudhary Councilor of ward no.29 Shakti Nagar Kabla Singh, Kushant, Atul Bakshi, Karan Sharma and other prominent citizens of shiv nagar & its adjoining areas were present.
During the tour residents of ward no.33 appreciated the efforts of mayor for taking personnel interest in the development activities of Jammu and assured that they are always with him in over all development of Jammu and making it really a smart city.
Mayor appeal to the general public not to throw filth, garbage etc. in the public lane, drain & nallahas & refrain from using, polythene as well as single use plastic in their routine life as it is creating insanitary condition and polluting our environment.
