3-days Training Programme under BBBP held in Pulwama

PULWAMA, DEC4: District Programme Office ICDS organized 3 days training programme for the field functionaries of education, health and ICDS Department here at Child Development Project office Pulwama.
During the programme, resource persons including Doctors, Lecturers and teachers acquainted the trainees about the importance of girl child and also deliberated upon the topics like Child Sex Ratio at birth and its trends and impact, anaemic and underweight children with special reference to females, gender differential, child mortality rate, necessity of separate toilets for girls in schools, protection of girl child through implementation of PC-P&DT Act and POSOC, misuse of drugs for selective abortive practices and constitution of provisions for upliftment of girls.
The programme was attended by DPO (ICDS) and field functionaries of education, health and ICDS departments.
