Wreath laying ceremony for Martyr Shahbaz Ahmad held at DPL Srinagar

SRINAGAR, Jan 22: To pay honor and respect to martyr Shahbaz Ahmad resident of Manjakot District Rajouri, who attained martyrdom yesterday while fighting with terrorists at Khrew Awantipora, a wreath laying ceremony was held at District Police Lines, Srinagar today.
Civil & Police Officers led by Advisor to Hon'ble Lt Governor Shri Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, DGP J&K Police Shri Dilbagh Singh-IPS, IGP Kashmir Shri Vijay Kumar-IPS, IGP Ops CRPF Shri Rajesh Kumar, DIG CKR Srinagar Shri Vidhi Kumar Birdi-IPS, DIG SKR Shri Atul Goel-IPS, DC Srinagar Shri Shahid Iqbal Choudhary-IAS, DC Pulwama Dr. Raghav Langer-IAS laid floral wreaths on the mortal remains & paid rich tributes to the martyr for the supreme sacrifice made in the line of duty.
Among others who paid floral tributes to the martyr include senior officers of CAPF, SSP Srinagar Shri Haseeb Mughal-JKPS, SSP Security Kashmir Shri Imtiyaz Hussain Mir-JKPS, SSP Awantipora Shri Tahir Saleem, other officers and jawans of the police and security forces.
Martyr Shahbaz Ahmad's family is survived by father Abdul Aziz, Mother Sewa Akhter, two brothers Ajaz Ahmad and Shahnawaz Ahmad and a sister Asiya.
We pay our rich tributes to the martyr for his supreme sacrifice made in the line of duty.
