CRPF Marks colourful closing of Bharat Darshan Tour

JAMMU, JAN 24: A Bharat Darshan Tour organized by 166 Bn, CRPF for students of Jammu region to various historical and tourist/cultural places in Mumbai and Delhi marked a colourful closing. This Bharat Darshan Tour 2019-20 was flagged off by ShriPC Gupta, Commandant 166Bn CRPF, Sidhra,Jammu on 18/01 /2020. The closing event was hosted by ShriShivnandan Singh, Dy. Commandant with welcoming the Honorable chief guest, other dignitaries and 24 children who went for Bharat Darshan Tour. After this, ShriPC Gupta, Commandant 166 BN CRPF addressed all present members and thanked them for making this tour successful and told them that such programs organized by CRPF commensurate the public friendly image of the Force and reflects its commitment towards contribution in the development of society. During the tour, children visited Mumbai (Sidhivinayak Temple, Haji Ali Dargah, Gateway of India, Sanjay Gandhi National Park Mumbai, ChhatrapatiShivaji Terminus (CST) Mumbai, Juhu Beach, Mumbai Marine Drive, Mumbai Worli sea face, Colaba Causeway, Mumbai Shivaji Park, Mumbai local film city tour and further Local Sight-seeing at Delhi (Laxmi Narayan Temple, QutabMinar, Gandhi Smiriti, Red Fort, Rajghat, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Sri BalajiMandir). Under this tour, wherever they visited, they had first-hand knowledge about historical heritage of holy places and others.In the closing function, ShriJagjeetsinghDyComdt, ShriShivnandan Singh Dy.Comdt, ShriHem rajMeen aAssttComdt, ShriShashi Kant YadavAsst tComdt, SmtPriti Gupta, Principal of Govt. Higher Secondary School KhannaChagral, staff of other Schools and parents of the studentswere also present.At the end of closing ceremony, ShriShivnandan Singh, DyComdt 166 Bn CRPF thanked the chief guest and all the participants and hosted a tea/refreshment party before sending the tour team of 24 students to their home.
