T20 cricket tournament organsied

JAMMU, JAN 27: Men in uniform have been a symbol of camaraderie, team spirit and cohesiveness. Taking it further on the occasion of 71st Republic day, Army at Damana organized a T20 cricket tournament under the aegis of Tiger Division. A total of 6 teams competed in league cum knock out basis tournament at KC Sports club, Damana. Final match was played between Tiger Artillery brigade and Division troops on Saturday. Earlier batting first, Division troops scored 96 runs in 20 overs. In reply, Tiger Artillery Brigade chased the target by losing 08 wickets, thus won the match by 02 wickets. Despite the chill factor, tournament received overwhelming enthusiasm and support from all ranks. Speaking on the occasion, chief guest General Officer Commanding, Tiger Division congratulated the winners and thanked chairman, KC Sports club for providing excellent platform for conduct of tournament.
