AEA Kathua awarded during Republic Day

JAMMU, JAN 27: Subdesh Kumar Khajuria, Agriculture Extension Assistant, Panchayat Kachhair, Zone NagrotaGujroo, Agriculture Sub Division Billawar, Department of Agriculture Kathua was today conferredwith special appreciation award by Om PrakashBhagat, Deputy Commissioner Kathua during 71st Republic day function held at Sports stadium Kathua in recognition of his services for promotion of scientific Agriculture. ShridharPatil SSP Kathua, Vijay Kumar Upadhaya, Chief Agriculture Officer Kathua and District Heads other departments were also present on the occasion.
Subdesh Kumar Khajuriawhile working in thepanchayat Kachhair, Zone NagrotaGujjro Sub Division Billawarachieved targets of Kissan Credit Cards (KCC), Soil Health Card (SHC), PM Kissan and popularized scientific agricultural innovations at grass-roots for promoting livelihood security and increasing the farm income. Besides, he also promotedwomen Self Help Group (SHG) for mushroom cultivation. The Panchayat with his efforts is being developed as mushroom village in the district.Chief Agriculture Officer Kathua lauded the efforts of Mr. Khajuriain bringing the agriculture schemes to the doorsteps of the farming community of the far-flung and remote areas of the Zone.
