Martyr's Day Remembrance Committee pays tribute to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru

JAMMU, MAR 23: Through telephonic medium, the Martyr's Day Remembrance Committee held commemoratory meeting on the 89th Martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed-E-Aazm Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru to pay rich tributes to the great martyrs who gave prime sacrifice of their lives for the freedom of India fighting against British Imperialism.
Convener of the Committee Advocate Hari Chand Jalmeria, conveyed to the media that telephonic meeting was held with members of the Committee including Adv DK Khajuria, Adv JA Kazmi, Adv BL Kalgotra, Uday Chand, S Kuldip Singh, Dr Ghanisham Singh Charak, Dewan Chand, HS Lalotra, Ravi Singh, Pt Tek Chand Sapolia, Ravi Kumar, Shanker Chib, S. Hari Singh, Ashok Randhawa, Romesh Singh, Swaran Singh, Dr. Taran Singh, Adv Bansi Lal Sharma, Mohinder Singh Andotra, Joginder Singh, Balwant Kalotra, Chuni lal Mistri, Arvind Singh,MU Slaria Adv, KM Bhatti Adv, SS Ahmed Adv, Roop Lal Adv. All paid rich tributes in the memory of the great Martyrs Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru who were hanged in Lahore jail on 23rd March 1931 in the evening violating all established judicial norms. Shaheed-E-Aazm Bhagat Singh and his colleagues were fighting not only for freedom of India but also for establishing socialism thereafter.
It is sad that India got divided at the time of Independence and socialism has now become a dream only. It is need of the hour that people of India unite and strive to realize the aspirations of Bhagat Singh and his colleagues.
