Police seizes 16 vehicles, 3 shops violation in Akhnoor

AKHNOOR, MAR 23: Police seized 16 vehicles and three shops violation of government order. SDPO Ajay Sharma with Tehsildar Akhnoor raided the shops of Naveen Gupta @ Sanjay S/O Tilak Raj Gupta M/s 'Jai Durga Tarders' Hardware Store at Punnu Chowk, Mr. Rashpal Singh S/O Gulab Singh R/O Gurha Jagir, Akhnoor M/s Rashpaul Cloth House at Sohal, Mr. Rajinder Kumar S/O Paras Ram R/O Gopala M/s Furniture House at Gopala and subsequently FIR. No.40/2020 U/S 188 IPC, FIR. No.41/2020 U/S 188 IPC, FIR. No.42/2020 U/S 188 IPC were registered against the violators of DM Jammu order U/S 144 issued in dealing with threat of COVID-19 for not opening Shop other than essential Commodities. They had opened their shop respectively as such they were arrested for violation of said orders of DM Jammu.
