JAMMU, MAR 24: The members of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice, in a press release issued here have said that no Hindu, Muslim, Bodh, Sikh & Christian is safe in this corrupt & caste based political system & it is the prime duty of every responsible citizen of the state to expose all these traditional corrupt political parties & not get misled by their misleading statements. The present situation in the country in general & J&K in particular is due to the corrupt & caste base politics being played by all these traditional political parties. The Congress, NC & PDP are responsible for downgrading of J&K state into Union Territories because they have always misused Art. 370 for their personal political interests. While giving the statement by Former CM of J&K Mr. Azad that condition today in J&K are verse than 30 years ago, Azad felt no compunction or shame though he is one of those who are responsible for the conditions which he calls "WORSE". It is a well known fact that children of many politicians during Congress, NC & PDP rule were selected to professional courses on the bases of impersonation in the qualifying tests, some of which were caught red handed. During the course of studies in the Medical Colleges, the same immoral ways were adopted. When these inefficient people qualified as Doctors they were posted in Province or District head quarters thus jeopardizing the lives of thousands. Similar phenomena accorded so for as in Education is concerned. Education department was filled with some inefficient educators which ruined and are still ruining the carrier of Lacs of students. Many scams of education Ministers have come to light which were highlighted by than media & are well known to the general public of J&K. The Roshni Act scam and so many others have occurred because of the deliberate wrong policies of Politicians.
The members further said that the real face of BJP in implementing true Panchayati Raj system in J&K is also now fully exposed in view of its role played here first during their tenure as partner with PDP and now when we have President's rule. They said that it was during BJP partnership with PDP when they amended J&K Panchayati Raj Act, providing for indirect elections for Sarpanch which was later on rescinded by Sh. N.N. Vohra the then Governor of J&K. And now when BJP has its say during President's rule, they conducted BDC elections on Party basis, detaining all opposition leaders without making 73rd amendment of Indian Constitution applicable in J&K, The members said and added that with a clever mind and conspiracy, the BJP did not wait for a weeks' time when on 1st November,2019, all central laws including 73rd amendment would have been applicable in J&K with the formation of UT status to J&K state. In fact, they said that all Political Parties including BJP, have made the Panchayati Raj Act 1989, a mere Toothless tiger through amendments after amendments in J&K to suit their political interests. There is great resentment among common masses particularly highly qualified youths who feel that they have been cheated and denied opportunity to contest the BDC elections,they maintained. They have appealed the masses to see through the immoral political game plan of BJP which amply exposes their hollow love for BDC elections, befooling the masses in broad day light.
