Radha Soami Satsang Beas offers its Satsang Centres to Punjab, J&K

Chandigarh/Jammu, Mar 24: Extending a helping hand, two spiritual organisations on Tuesday offered their prayer places to the Punjab government in the state's battle against COVID-19.
In a humanitarian gesture, the Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB) and Sant Nirankari Mission offered their Satsang Ghar' to Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.
RSSB head Baba Gurinder Singh called upon the chief minister of Punjab and said detailed instructions have been issued to the field units in this regard.
Sant Nirankari Mission president Gobind Singh, popularly known as Bhaiyaji, also extended a similar offer for utilization of Nirankari Bhawan and their facilities in the state's battle against coronavirus. A spokesperson of the Chief Minister's Office said Amarinder appreciated the benevolent gesture of the leaders of the two organisations.
It has been learnt that Radha Soami Satsang Beas Jammu has also offered its main centre at Najwal, Thandi Khui Samba to J&K Govt where a quarantine centre is being set up.
The Mayor of Jammu Mr Chander Mohan Sharma & Chief Secretary Mr B V R Subrahmanyam have thanked RSSB Head Babaji & RSSB Organisation for this benovalent gesture.
It may be mentioned that RSSB Jammu Centre has a sitting capacity of more than 2.5 lakh people in its shed with adequate clean toilets and bathrooms besides the organisation has offered other logistic support to the J&K Govt at the time of the pandemic of COVID 19 disease across the globe.
The Govt would set up a temporary quarantine facility in their Satsang Centre situated in lush green environment and provide clean boarding, lodging and other medical facilities to the people put in compulsory quarantine there. This centre would be the J&K's biggest isolation centre if need arises and can accommodate more than a lakh people with beddings at the time, sources in the district administration said.
