Early release of relief, ration has been taken up with govt: Chrungoo

SRINAGAR, MAR 28: "The early release of monthly relief and ration to the displaced people of Kashmir and Jammu has been taken up with the government", said Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, Senior BJP & Kashmiri Pandit leader. In a statement issued today, he said that due to the complete lock down in force up to the middle of April 2020, the administration of J&K has been requested to consider urgent and early disbursement of relief and ration to the displaced people.
Chrungoo said that since the administration has also responded positively to the suggestion, it is expected that the issue will be processed before the onset of April 2020 enabling the displaced persons to get the necessary items in the first week of April 2020. "I make an appeal to the government to even consider advance payment of the next month relief and ration to the concerned people."
He appealed to the people to observe the guidelines issued by the government in respect of the countrywide lockdown strictly and without any failure. "Stay home stay safe" is the most important doctrine of the day in context of fight against the China Wuhan Virus, Covid19. Chrungoo maintained that it also needed to be made clear that the recently announced Financial Package and the Marotarium on loans by the Union Finance Minister apply to the concerned sections of the displaced community as well.
