DCC resumes relief distribution drive

JAMMU, MAY 19: DCC resumed their Relief Distribution Drive in Jammu today, as team members circulated health kits among the residents of Jammu East in Ward 3, in Mastgarh area. The health kits comprised of essentials such as face masks, hand sanitizers and soaps. The event was organised by Ms Jyoti Vaid, Vice President DCC and Sushant Gupta, General Secretary DCC. The program held arranged home delivery of the aforementioned kits to the doorsteps of the residents. Former Minister J&K and General Secretary JKPCC In Charge District President Jammu Urban, Yogesh Sawhney led the relief distribution drive, an initiative which entails dispensation of ration, masks and other essential commodities among the residents of Jammu, migrant workers and other needy people. "DCC is trying to ensure that the proper distribution of relief packages to the needy in the city and peripheral areas takes place. Masks, Hand Sanitizers and soaps, have been provided in each kit. It's very important that people if they go out, go out wearing masks and carrying a hand sanitiser with them at all times. These kits are delivered to the doorsteps of people so that people stay home and stay safe," stated Sawhney, speaking about the drive.
"The motto is that each and every one stays safe and has the necessities to be so. Whatever the people require in the lock down situation should be provided to them with ease and keeping the situation in mind" added Sawhney.
The various prominent leaders present at the occasion were DCC Vice Presidents - Pawan Dev and Jyoti Vaid, DCC General Secretaries - Anoop Gupta and Sushant Gupta, DCC Secretary - Parvinder Kour and Shanky Gupta and Ward President Hardavinder Singh , Sumit Chibber , Pappu Suri , Shankey Sudan , Neeeru Gupta , Vimla Padha , Neha Gupta , Munna Nischal , Rehmat Javed were also present.
