SDPO conducts market checking

Bhaderwah. May 23: Today on the directions of local Administration a market squad comprised of Municipal committee Bhaderwah,Revenue, police ,Veterinary department and Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution deptt. led by Tehsildar Bhaderwah (Ist class Megistrate) along with SDPO conducted market checking in whole markets.Along with health and hygiene, quality of meat,rate lists were also checked.Instensive market inspection was conducted under sub section 5 of section 202 of Municipal Act 2000.poor quality meat was also seized on spot. Butchers were directed not to sell poor quality and unstamped meat to consumers and refrain from incurring overcharging rates.Ist class Magistrate further warned the butchers if the stamp of Municipal committee Bhaderwah is not found on the dressed carcasses the same would be destroyed with out inssuing any notice.other squad members in the inspection drive were Veterinary surgeon, Assistant Sanitation Off-icer, Naib Tehsildars, Sanitary Inspectors, representatives of CAPD etc.
