JKPS wins appreciation of Prime Minister for participation in nationawise compaign ‘Saksham’

JAMMU, May 23: JK Public School won appreciation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for participation in a nationwide campaign 'Saksham'. The Prime Minister conveyed his appreciation vide letter dated 16 January 2020 signed by Sh. Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas Steel. Govt of India.
The contents of the letter reads as "I would like to express my gratitude for your school's participation in 'Saksham' a nationwide campaign to promote mass awareness on fuel conservation, organized by Petroleum Conservation Research Association. It's a matter of immense satisfaction that over 1.4Cr children from over 33,000 schools across India participated in various competitions organized as a part of this campaign. I had the opportunity to go through some of the entries, which reflected deep critical thinking, creativity and social awareness. It was indeed inspiring. Perhaps, we have much to learn from these children that the other way around".
It is reiterated that Ms Aditi Sharma of JK Public School had won Consolation Prize of Five Thousand in the category of Junior Painting Competition organized under the banner of Ministry Petroleum & Natural Gas Steel Campaign 'Saksham'. She was listed among the Top 100 students across India.
