Dy Mayor JMC distributes essential food supplies

JAMMU, May 24On the directions of Rashtriya Prabhari Avinash Rai Khanna, Party President Ravinder Raina and Sangathan Mantri Ashok Koul and also under the "Feed The Needy" Program by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor today distributed essential food items to the needy families of Booth no. 08, ward no. 01 in order to make sure no local of ward no. 01 has to suffer or starve due to the Nationwide Lockdown.
Amid the Lock Down in India to fight the COVID-19, today Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor JMC, distributed essential food supplies including rice bags, flour bags and other essential food items among the needy families of Booth no. 08, ward no. 01. A total of 60 families of ward no. 01 Chougan Salathia area Area were provided with essential food supplies during the distribution.
Deputy Mayor ensured the public of ward no. 01 that such distribution of ration (food supplies) will be done to the locals and needy in the wards and further appealed to the locals to stay indoors and cooperate with the efforts of Government and Police that are trying their best to stop the further spread of this pandemic. The essential food items were distributed among the families of Ward no. 01 including the locals, weaker economic section and APL families.
The food supplies were provided by Purnima Sharma and her team of ward no. 01.
Gopal Sanotra (Mandal Office Secretary), Vijay Kumar Sharma (Booth President, Ward no. 01), Harcharan Singh (Booth President, Ward no. 01), Akshay Sagar (Booth President, Ward no. 01), Vandana Trehan (State Executive Member MM), Shubh Lata Sharma (General Secretary MM BJP), Tarseem, Gopal Magotra, Rajesh Sharma, Raman, Sudershan Singh, Salathia, Baru, Virender Verma, Team of Booth Presidents and Ward Presidents of ward 01 and other prominent members of the ward were also present.
