MP Ladakh visits remote villages along side SingayLa Pass

Leh, May 29: One Parliamentarian who is making a mark with his untiring efforts to serve the needy amid the crisis of COVID19, young and dynamic MP Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, since the end of his quarantine on reaching Ladakh he has been making strides with reaching out to nomads, hamlets, villages across the forward border post alongside the Chinese occupied territory of Ladakh.
On his recent visit to check on the necessary essentials of food, health care, education have been reaching out to the concerned who live along the SingayLa Pass around 22000 feet above sea level. He visited villages Wanla, Fanjela, Hanupata 12600ft, Futogsar 15000 ft, Yolchung 12600ft, Neyraks Village 12000 ft, Gongma Village 12800ft, Skumpata 12500ft, Lingshed 12200 ft. Across the villages their needs streamline on very basic needs of human survival, connectivity of water lines, better health care facilities, education, internet connectivity. In a era where transition to modern technologies of 5G, A.I are in progress, most of these villages have no access to basic phone network. Considering the topography where connectivity is a important essential, in times of emergency for healthcare, people in the region stand prone to face the challenges.
In his address on the grievances, MP assured them of access to their needs notifying the concerned departments to act upon. While in Futogsar, a girl student went into tears on being unable to continue her studies online with no access to internet.MP assured of necessary arrangements for her to continue her studies.
MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal praised the untiring efforts of BRO "GREF", Project Vijayak, chief engineer, Brig. Amit singh sohal , 16 BRTF Commander, Sh. M K Jain, SE(c) and Badavath Kishan, Executive Engineer ( c) Officer Commanding,81 RCC and his team who have created road access along the region which is snow clad for almost 6 months, with completion of snow clearence work by first week of April a month prior, the people of the region have also appreciated the efforts, MP also honored Dheer Singh and Sher Singh , OEMs who have played a important role on the ground in creating road access. Amid the humanitarian crisis of COVID19 and amid the ongoing India China tussle in Eastern Ladakh region. MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal is setting new standards of serving the needy.
