Dy Mayor JMC inspects ward no. 40.

JAMMU, Jul 31: Today Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor JMC conducted inspection of ward no. 40 along with Corporator ward no. 40, Neelam Nargotra and CTO JMC Harvinder Singh.
After receiving many complaint from the residents of ward no. 40 regarding backing of Nallah water into the houses of the residents. Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor JMC along with CTO JMC and concerned Corporator went for the site inspection of the Nallah and ward and gave directions to the CTO JMC to get the Nallah desilted so that the backing of Nallah water into the houses may stop.
CTO on the spot took the initiative and desilting of Nallah was started using JCB.
CTO further ensured the Hon'ble Deputy Mayor JMC that they will further lower the bed of the Nallah so that no such problem may occur again.
After inspecting the site of the Nallah, Deputy Mayor conducted inspection of ward no. 40 and noted the sanitary conditions of the ward and also interacted with the residents asking them if there are any problems regarding sanitation, streets or lightening in the ward. After receiving positive responses from the residents of the ward, Adv. Purnima Sharma appealed to the locals not to wander out of there houses unnecessarily as COVID-19 cases are still on the rise and only to go out when it's important and while wearing masks and practicing social distancing.
Sahil ji and other prominent residents of the ward also accompanied the Deputy Mayor JMC.
