Shiv Sena flays Govt for setting up isolation ward in residential area

JAMMU, August 1: Shiv Sena leader Rajan Gupta along with Pardeep Kumar, Rohit Gupta, Ankush Sethi, Rakesh Verma, expressed serious concern over the setting up of isolation ward (COVID care centre) for suspected coronavirus patients at Yati Niwas, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, posing a serious threat to the people visiting there being related to J&K Bank and dispensary services.Addressing media persons here today, Rajan Gupta said that it is a complete failure on part of the Administration and the lives of many has been put into risk with these isolation wards."We go for a walk, children play around, many use ATMs, visit banks and other shops located close to Yatri Niwas but if these wards are not to be shifted immediately, it will be a great threat for the people and children residing in the area," Gupta said.
Gupta asked the government to take immediate steps of shifting these wards to some other location. He appealed to the Lieutenant Governor Girish Chandra Murmu to issue directions in this regard in the interest of the residents and also the suspected persons.others who present Ayush saproo, Sahil Singh and Sanjeev.
