Lakhanpur incident is outburst of people against BJP fake promises

JAMMU, AUG 4: Congress has strongly condemened attack on a local youth of Lakhanpur by some goons for extorting toll tax last evening, as a result 2 other persons were seriously injured besides large scale protests by the locals against the BJP Govt.
Strongly condemened the attack on a local youth namely Deepak Kumar by some goons with a view to extort toll at toll plaza Lakhanpur, JKPCC has expressed solidatory with the local population who agigated over the attack and protesting against such tactics to force the locals to pay tax, while BJP claims that locals within vicinity of 20Kms shall be exempted.
The party has termed the yesterday's incident as the expression of anger of the local people against the betrayal of BJP Govt. imposing taxes and extortion of toll from the people.
The BJP leaders had told people that UT's in the country are exempted from toll taxes, but now one after another toll plazas are being installed in Jammu region.The party has expressed full support to the cause of the local people and extended its full support against the installation of toll plazas and sought immediate roll back of toll plazas.
