CBI arrests CAPD officer

JAMMU, Oct 21: The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Junior Assistant working in the office of Food Supply Officer, Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution, Rajouri for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 22,500 from the father of the complainant.
CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed while accepting bribe of Rs.22500/-. Searches were conducted at the residential & official premises of the accused in Rajouri.
The arrested accused is being produced today before the Court of Special Judge, Anti-Corruption (CBI Cases), Jammu.
