DDC Samba reviews achievements of My town My pride programme

SAMBA, Oct 21: District Development Commis-sioner, Rohit Khajuria today convened a meeting of Executive Officers of four Municipalities of district Samba to review the progress achieved under recently concluded My Town My Pride Programme.
Chief Planning Officer, Sukhleen Kour, Chief Executive Officer municipal council Samba, Executive officer of Municipalities of Ramgarh, Vijaypur and Bari-Brahmana attended the meeting.
The executive officers of municipalities presented a detailed presentation regarding various activities carried out during the two day programme of 'My town My pride'. It was informed that a number of new and old development projects were inaugurated and launched including lanes/drains, maintenance of roads.
Sanctioning of new water supply schemes besides sanctioning of PMAY-U cases, new pension cases, plantation drives, sanitation drives and other beneficiary schemes activities were also carried out. The status of civic amenities, street lights, Sewerage treatment plant, solid waste management techniques were also discussed & appr-ised to the visiting officer.
