Blood donation camp organized

JAMMU, Oct 27: A blood donation camp was organised in the Government Medical College & Hospital Jammu with an aim to provide blood to the need people amid Covid pandemic.
The camp was organised by Sahil Kerni, brother of deceased Youth NC leader Rohit Kerni who lost his life due to this lethal virus few months ago.
Speaking to media persons, Sharma said that amidst the surging numbers of COVID-19 positive cases in the state the supply of blood for patients received a jolt and in this consequence he came forward to boost up the supply. A total of 17 units of blood were donated to save the precious lives. He further said "The human race reeling under the acute critical period of COVID-19 combined with natural calamities. Hence we arrange voluntary blood donation to save precious lives.
Meena Sidhu, Head of Department Blood Bank GMC appreciated the efforts of youth for donating blood donation and informed that the blood donation is safe amid Covid pandemic.
