5 accused arrested in attempt to murder

JAMMU, Jan 14: A written complaint was lodged at P/S Bagh-e-Bahu by one person namely Parvinder Singh @ Lucky S/o Harpal Singh R/o Satellite Colony Bathindi Jammu that he has been attacked by five persons namely 1.) Rasvinder Singh 2.) Ravinder Pal Singh 3.) Surjeet Singh @ Sonu 4.) Pawandeep Singh 5.) Amarjeet Singh @ Raju Thatha along with other unknown persons who attacked the said person with stones and lathies and also fired two rounds with the intention to kill him. During this incident, one vehicle Scorpio bearing Registration No. JK02CD- 7999 also got damaged.
On this information, case FIR No 04/2021 U/S 307/427/147/148 IPC 3/25 A .Act was registered at P/S Bagh-e-Bahu.
On this special teams of P/S Bagh-e-Bahu under the supervision SDPO City East Jammu Dy.SP Bikram Kumar (KPS) were constituted. The team led by SHO P/S Bagh-e-Bahu. Insp. Kirti Sharma raided various locations in Jammu, Samba and Kathua to effect the arrest of accused persons. After putting hectic efforts and with the help of technical assistance the police team managed to arrest Ravinder Pal Singh on 9-1-2021, Amarjeet Singh @ Raju Thatha S/O Sawarn Singh R/O Sajhan Pur Chatha arrested on 11-1-2021 & accused Surjeet Singh S/O Harminder Singh, Rasvinder Singh S/O Harbans Singh R/O Sainik Colony, Pawandeep S/O Tarlook Singh R/O Seorah were arrested from Thandi Khui Samba on 13-01-2021. Weapon of offence (Pistol) used in the incident has also been recovered in the case.
