Kaith Biradari felicitates new DDC members


JAMMU, Jan 16: The Kaith Biradari members drawn from different parts thronged the Sankri Devasthan in Langotian to mark the day of Sankri Devta. Besides participating in havan and puja archana in the sanitized premises of Devasthan, the devotees paid obeisance to Sankri Devta to invoke his benevolent blessings for the welfare of self and their families. The Kaith Biradari President Honorary Captain Girdhari Lal Kaith threw light on the religious significance of celebrating the day of Sankri Devta and also exhorted the Biradari members to work towards the eradication of social evils prevalent in the Biradari. The Scientist Dr Ramesh Kumar Kaith stressed on providing of best education to the Biradari children so that they are able to occupy higher positions in the Government. Also speaking, the JU Retired Assistant Registrar Mr R.L. Kaith said that education is for enlightenment, enhancement of knowledge and empowermet. It should aim at the holistic development of all faculities of 'head', 'hand' and 'heart' and provide the skill and attitude required for the 21st century.
