Assessment camps for PwDs held at Ramgrah

SAMBA, Apr 15: On the direction of District Devel-opment Commissioner Sa-mba, Anuradha Gupta, Dep-artment of Social Welfare, in collaboration with ALIMCO, conducted an assessment camp of persons with Disability (PwD) "Divay-angs" here at Ramg-arh to provide them different aids and appliances. A large number of persons visited the assessment camp, who were attended by s team of doctors. A detailed assessment of each disability was determined and recorded.
It was informed that the PwDs will be provided free prosthetic aids based on today's assessment during the current financial year. The PwDs welcomed the holding of the assessment camps at their tehsil and expressed their gratitude to the district administration.
The other assessment camps shall be held at Vijaypur and Rajpura on 16th and 17th April respectively.
