18/04/2021

Vicky Kaushal is among the B-Town celebs, who have tested positive for COVID-19 in recent weeks. The actor, in a post on Instagram, wrote, “In spite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested COVID-19 positive. Following all essential protocols, I am under home quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor. I request all those who came in contact with me to immediately get tested. Take case and stay safe.”
However, Vicky has been active on social media while he recuperates in quarantine. The actor shares posts on Insta and is no doubt, waiting to test negative so that he can resume work. With three films lines up for 2021, he has busy schedules this year. With ‘Sardar Udham Singh’, ‘The Great Indian Family’ and ‘Mr Lele’ in his kitty, Vicky may be shooting back-to-back for the projects. The film’s release dates have not been confirmed given the precarious pandemic situation in the country.
Sardar Udham Singh is a biographical film in which Vicky will play the role of revolutionary freedom fighter Udham Singh. The film also features Banita Sandhu and Amol Parashar and is being directed by Shoojit Sircar.
In a recent interview, Vicky admitted that while he was quite a romantic in real life, he was not a charmer. He added that he had always been apprehensive about directly admitting his feelings to someone back when he was in college, and would always be a reserved person. Now, however, things have changed and the actor says that he has become a much more confident person.
