Covid-19 tests held at Ware House

JAMMU, Apr 20: Taking extra precautions amid steep rise in covid-19 cases, Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market Jammu with the help of District Administration and Health Department Jammu on Tuesday conducted rapid antigen tests for COVID-19 at warehouse. On the Request of Deepak Gupta, President Traders Federation administration deputed a special team in the warehouse.
Medical team tested 92 workers and employees of Ware House and four of them tested Covid-19 positive.
Gupta on this occasion said that the situation is being worse day by day and in Jammu daily around 1500 cases are reported on a daily basis.
Considering the situation, Federation requested the district administration to conduct this camp.
Deepak Gupta said that this new COVID strain is said to be 70 percent more transmissible from the novel coronavirus disease, triggering fear and panic amongst the society and as a precautionary measure Federation once again conducted this camp.
"We also sanitize our market today evenning and this will be done on a daily basis."
