BLSKS presents Dogri Musical concert on “Sahra Dogra Desh”

JAMMU, Sep 17: To celebrate the "International Country Music Day 2021" & to promote the Traditional Duggar Culture of J&K , Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan today presented 78th Friday Series Musical Concert "Sahra Dogra Desh", during Quarantine Time in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art production. The Songs presented were written and Directed by Dr. M.L.Dogra, Former Assistant Director of Song and Drama Division, Ministry of Information Broadcasting, Government of India.
The Program was inaugurated by V.K.Magotra, Former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, J.K.Raina, Freelancer Producer Director films, & Dr. Tara Singh Charak, Former Chief Medical Officer, Jammu and Kashmir Government , Udhampur, were Guest of Honour.
The Programe was commenced with the songs were "Jammu Sada Dogrea Da Shear Ji", "Sur Sangam Mai Hai Dum" , "Sangeet Mai Hai Jaan" , "Ohh Jija Kiyan Jana Udhampura" and the music of the concert composed by Mr.M.C.kotwal, Music Director, BLSKS & assisted by Raju Bajgal.
The chief guest lauded the main objective of the concert and said International Country Music Day is celebrated on September 17 of every year.
The celebration of the day encourages and promotes country music globally and unites fans and artists across the world & celebrate the day with your favorite country music or instruments. The Songs were also presented and upload on Social Media for benefit of the people like "Beti Bachao-Beti Padao".
