Inter-school Zone level tournament concludes at Batote

RAMBAN, Sept 18: Inter-school Zonal level tournament in the disciplines of Cricket, Badmi-nton, Chess, Carom, Volleyball, Kabaddi and Kho-Kho concluded today at Government Higher Secondary School, Batote.
A total 350 boys and girls of zone Batote took part in the competition organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports. The Principal GHSS Batote, Swarn Singh, who was the chief guest at the closing ceremony, congratulated the Department of Youth Services and Sports for engaging students in physical activity. He said that sports play a very important role in the physical and mental development of children. The competition was held under the guidance of DYYSO Ramban, Dharamvir Singh. Meanwhile, ZPEO Batote, Subash Chander informed the winner of the competition to participate in the inter-zone district level tournament at Ramban.
