Two killed, 3 injured in Poonch road accident

JAMMU, Sep 22: Two persons were killed and three injured when a taxi they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge on Wednesday in Poonch district.
Police said that one taxi on way from Mendhar towards Chunnga Namah when reached Chunnga Main met with an accident at about 1845 hours and the vehicle fell into 100 meters deep gorge resulting into injuries to five persons.
Police and locals rushed to the spot and launched the rescue operation and shifted the injured to the hospital.
Two persons died in the mishap, they said.
