Yudhvir pays rich tributes to Martyred JCO, soldier; says Nation stands with their families

JAMMU, Oct 15: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Party's Vice President J&K, Yudhvir Sethi paid rich tributes to two soldiers including one JCO who achieved martyrdom in Mendhar area of Poonch district the other day.
Sethi was speaking during a programme organized by JP Chowk Jagrata Committee and other associations in Jammu East Constituency here today in which a spectrum of speakers threw light on the contributions of Martyrs in guarding the borders across the nation.
Expressing grief over the martyrdom, they said that the whole Nation is standing with families of Martyrs in this hour of distress.
Yudhvir Sethi, while expressing shock and grief over loss of lives of the nation's security personnel during various encounters with terrorists, lauded the security forces giving a befitting reply to the terrorists despite sudden spurt in terrorist attacks in the recent days.
He asserted that the nation is proud of its security force personnel as they are always ready to embrace martyrdom to defend the nation and its people.
He said that our security forces are strong enough to handle any adverse situation. However, the martyrdom of soldiers is a matter of pain and pride of the nation, he added.
Yudhvir Sethi lambasted the Kashmir based politicians for supporting anti-nationals by giving highly inflammatory statements which only mislead the people in the valley thus aggravating the situation further. He also castigated Pakistan for its continued support to terrorism and facilitating infiltration of terrorists into the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir to create mayhem and panic here.
Saluting the martyred army personnel, the senior BJP leader said that the whole nation stands with the families of these martyrs sharing their grief in the hour of great distress. He asserted that the nation shall ever remain indebted to the martyrs and their families as it is because of their sacrifices that the people across the nation can live peacefully.
