Four JeM militants chargesheeted

Jammu, Jan 6: The Jammu Police today produced challan in the Court of Special Judge NIA against three Jaish-e-Mohammed militants who were caught by police for smuggling arms.
Facts of the case are that on 11-07-2021 through reliable sources an information was received in P/S Gangyal to the effect that some trucks with registration Numbers of Kashmir Valley have involved themselves in transportation of illegal arms/ ammunition and explosives from border area of Jammu to Kashmir valley. One such Truck/Tralla bearing Registration No JK13E-0211 owned and driven by one Muntazir Manzoor S/O Manzoor Ahmed Bhat R/O Prichoo Pulwama, who himself is a member of Terrorists Organization, is continuously indulging in transportation of Arms/ ammunitions and Explosive from border area of Jammu to Kashmir Valley, which are being dropped by Pakistan across the border through the help of drones. These arms / ammunitions and explosives after transportation are further being used by the active terrorists operating in Kashmir valley to create terrorist activities as a part of larger conspiracy, to wage war against Gout and to threaten the sovereignty, integrity and security of the Country. On receipt of this Information, the instant case was registered at P/S Gangyal and investigation started. During the course of investigation, SHO P/S Gangyal Inspector Raghubir Singh along with PSI lahtsham-Ul Haq, HC Mushtaq Ahmed No 774/J, Sgct. Ajay Kumar No 895/J, SPO Sukhdev Raj No 1329/J in official vehicle driven by SPO Pardeep Kumar No 1437/J left the P/S in search of the truck mentioned in the FIR. During checking truck bearing registration No. JK13E-0211 was intercepted at Purmandal Morh Naka at 1730 hrs on 11.07.2021. On questioning, the driver disclosed his name as Muntazir Manzoor and was brought to P/S Gangyal along with truck (tralla), where the above mentioned truck (Tralla) was seized and driver arrested. During his personnel search one Mobile phone make Oppo A-57 model CPH1701, Golden/white colour having IMEI No 863711034631737, 86374034631729 along with SIM card having mobile No. 9541559801 was recovered, seized and sealed. Thereafter Muntazir Manzoor was put to sustained examination. On his disclosure and pointing out, one pistol caliber 9MM without number/mark, one magazine of pistol, eight live rounds of pistol and two Chinese hand grenades were recovered from the cabin. During investigation, accused person Muntazir Manzoor (A-1) disclosed was touch/contact one Abu Hamas Pakistan WhatsApp through voice based National told App. After downloading the App the name "Saifullah" started that. Manzoor disclosed that with Abu Accused Muntazir that the said based handler collect consignment of ammunition from Samba area. He also sent a photograph of unknown person without showing his and told about his dress appearance and directed pick the Awantipora area. Accordingly, on said person 11-05-2021 Muntazir Manzoor alongwith who identified Towseef Ahmad left from valley reached Jammu. On 12-05-2021 both the persons procured consignment ammunition from area directions Pok Based handler namely Abu Humas which were through drone. Further Muntazir disclosed that the next on 13-5-2021 loaded Saria from Bari Brahmana area his vehicle towards valley. On Towseef Ahmad Lassipora ang Pulwama dropped associate receiving Rs. 15000/- from him. Later Muntazir the directions said PoK based terrorist handed 01 rifle, Pistol, 02 Magazines unknown person after an amount 30,000/- from him the said Pok through the social remaining appearance provided arms/ ammunition 01 Pistol, 01 Magazine, Pistol rounds Chinese hand grenades kept Muntazir Manzoor in possession on directions of the said terrorist, which were handed accused namely Khan Intijar Khan R/O Mirdan Mohalla Kandala Shamli UP (A-2). non-availability Ijahar Khan (A-2)in valley said arms/ammunition with Later 05-07-2021 alongwith conductor Cherry namely Nazagat proceeded towards Mumbai truck where after unloading the cherry returned alongwith loaded on 07-07-2021 loading Bananas his truck. However, the arms/ ammunition were still in possession for handing over the accused Ijahar Khan UP. accused Muntazir Manzoor reached alongwith Banana truck where of information he arrested Jammu Police Parmandal and the arms/ammunition which were his possession were accordingly recovered from vehicle. Subsequently, SIT was constituted by DPO Jammu, vide endorsement CRB/2021/ 45090-96/DPOJ dated 23-07-2021 investigation the instant case. During further investigation and on disclosure accused Muntazir Manzoor @ Saifulla "Pointing out proceeding were conducted place he picked consignment arms/ ammunitions explosives 11-05-2021, hich were dropped through drone from border Pakistan based handler send through telegr-am App mobile phone Muntazir Manzoor.
Today after completion of investigation, SDPO Gandhi Nagar Purshtom Mengiu presented challan against Muntazir Manzoor @ Saifullah, Ijahar Khan @ Sonu Khan, Towseef Ahmed Shah @ Showket @ Adnan and Jahangir Ahmed Bhat.
