Deputy Mayor inaugurates Jambu Lochan park, gym in ward no 11

JAMMU, Jan 18: Deputy Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation Purnima Sharma along with Corporator ward 11, Anita Sharma inaugurated Jambu Lochan Park and Gym at Purani Mandi Chowk, near Hanuman Mandir in Jammu East ward no. 11.
Speaking on the occasion Deputy Mayor Purnima Sharma said that today in she along with Smt. Anita Sharma inaugurated park and gym in ward no. 11 under the historic name of Jambu Lochan which was pending since the past many years.
She further said that Corporator Anita Sharma is working as per agenda which she discussed during the time of election i.e. the overall development of her ward and this park and gym development is a step towards the completion of her agenda.
"Completion of this park is a great step as the old city is congested and there are not many parks for the people and youth of old city to go to", She added. She further added that an open gym has also been installed for the public and youth and encourage the youth to participate in healthy practices likes sports and exercising instead of drugs and alcohol.
