Army organises educational workshop for children

JAMMU, May 16: In its efforts to keep the children of Kishtwar district motivated and also to guide them for a brighter tomorrow, Indian Army in collaboration with the Education Department of Jammu University organised a-one-day workshop for students of Ashiana in District Kishtwar (J&K).
The workshop comprised a series of activities to include career counselling, case study for advance counselling, theatre and role play, art and craft through story telling and other such activities. The students were enthralled to participate in this workshop as it gave them a totally new perspective and experience.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, the professors who were conducting the event thanked the Indian Army for organizing such events for the underprivileged children as it will help them identify their own skills and chose a progressive career path in future.
The Indian Army reps confirmed that more such events will be carried out in the future for the children and expressed their readiness to focus on children and youth as they are the future of our Nation.
