CRPF organizes Debate, Essay Writing Competition

JAMMU, May 19: As per the direction received from Directorate General, Central Reserve Police Force, New Delhi, Group Center Jammu CRPF organized a Debate & Essay writing competition program under "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" among the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Bantalab on the topics of Challenges in the Border areas they have been living, the extent of knowledge in R/o the borders, they are guarding (for own troops)/living (for local population), Socio-economic requirements & development of area.
The debate and essay writing competition was organized under the guidance of Bhanu Pratap Singh, Deputy Inspector General, Group Center, CRPF, Jammu. The chief guest of the competition, Mr. Prem Chandra Gupta, Commandant Group Center, CRPF Jammu, and Mr. Suraj Prasad, Principal Kendriya Vidyalaya Bant-alab Jammu and Gazetted officers of this Group Cen-ter, subordinate officers, jawans and teachers & students of Kendriya Vidyal-aya, Bantalab were present as spectators. After the debate and essay writing competition, the chief guest Mr. Prem Chandra Gupta, Commandant Group Center, CRPF, awarded the students with gifts and certificates, who got the first/ second/third position in the competitions, the result declared by the appointed committee. Chief guest Prem Chandra Gupta, Com-mandant Group Center CRPF, Jammu in his address said that this type of competitions is to provide an opportunity to
the young generation to become aware of the current & essential topics and build self-confidence and also make them to remain mentally fit.
This competition was successfully organized under the the leadership of Bhanu Pratap Singh, Dep-uty Inspector General, Gro-up Center Jammu. During this competition, Mr. Prem Chandra Gupta, Comman-dant Group Centre, CRPF, Jammu, Mr. Suraj Prasad, Principal, Kendriya Vidya-laya, Batalab, Mr. Harish Salhan, Assistant Comma-ndant, subordinate officers, jawans & teachers & stude-nts of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bantalab were present.
