11 grams of heroin recovered, peddler arrested

Jammu, Aug 13: Con-tinuing it's drive against drug trafficking & substance abuse, Jammu Police achie-ved major success by recovering 11 grams of heroin in the jurisdictions of PS Gangyal. A police team of PS Gangyal led by SHO PS Gangyal Inspector Joginder Singh assisted by PSI Sanjeev Sharma while on naka duty rounded up one suspect who was on his way from Sehora towards Kunjwani. On sea-rch 11 grams of heroin was recovered from him. The suspect was later identified as Sukhwinder Singh@ Shibu S/O Balwinder Singh R/O Resham Garh Colony, Jammu. In this regard a case FIR No. 91/2022 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act got registered in PS Gangyal & accused got arrested. The whole operation was done under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma.
