Congress to highlight major issues of J&K in upcoming rallies: JKPCC Chief

JAMMU, Sep 25: The Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee on Sunday held a meeting with District Presidents and Frontal Cells/Organisations to plan and discuss upcoming programs of the party under the leadership of PCC President Vikar Rasool Wani and Working President Raman Bhalla. Former Minister J&K Yogesh Sawhney Incharge District President Jammu (Urban), Manmohan Singh, Hari Singh Chib, Indu Pawar, and Uday Bhanu Chib attended the meeting. The PCC President issued directions to the leaders present at the meetings regarding the programs to be organised by them on allotted dates in their respective districts.
It was further informed in the meeting that rallies will be held in various parts where senior leadership from Delhi will also be involved to boost the party's leadership and support. The rallies will highlight major issues of J&K such as the plight of government employees such as PHE employees and daily wagers, the problems of the Kashmiri Pandits, Issues of teachers and students, Corruption and recruitment scams, Unemployment among others.
Speaking at the meeting, PCC President said that the Congress party will hold massive rallies in various parts for grassroots outreach. Many challenges are being faced by the public today and the Congress party will continue to highlight these issues through our programmes and efforts. Some of the biggest challenges that we are facing today include unemployment which touched 32% in J&K, sky-rocketing prices and J&K centric issues such as the plight of government department employees such as PHE employees, daily wagers, recruitment scams, the worsening situation of the apple growers, and an overall mismanagement and lack of good governance in Jammu Kashmir reflecting in almost all aspects of development, said Vikar Rasool Wani. In the meeting, we have scheduled the upcoming rallies and programs which will be hel in various parts to highlight these problems.
We want to cover all areas to directly connect with the masses and their issues so that no grievance is neglected, he further added.
Also speaking at the meeting, Working President PCC Raman Bhalla said that party workers and leaders at all levels will participate in upcoming programs as schedules for grassroot development and awareness creation.
In the meeting, the party has assigned responsibilities for the outreach programme to various functionaries.
Through which, we will continue to highlight the issues of the students, the farmers, the youth, the middle class and other sections of people who continue to suffer due to BJP government's misled policies.
Various senior Congress leaders were present in the meeting including Pawan Raina, Shashi Sharma, Sahil Sharma, Sanjeev Sharma, Pankaj Dogra, Pranav Shagotra, Vijay Sharma Babbi, Krishan Lal Gupta, Gurdarshan Singh, Babbl Gupta, Amrit Bali, Shadi Lal Pandita, Bilal Rashid, Narinder Gupta, Karan Bhagat, NSUI, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Parshotam Mehra, Ricky Dalotra, Sahil Langeh, Divyansh Jamwal, Anirudh Sawhney and others.
