On 24th September 2001-your newspaper JOURNEY LINE took its new birth as a daily full sized coloured newspaper with its own state of art web offset printing unit.
Worthwhile to mention that the seed was originally sown in 1998 when JOURNEY LINE was started as a Tabloid newsweekly.
From Public Power to a legal tabloid newsweekly to a full-fledged coloured 12 pages newspaper- the journey of JOURNEY LINE has seen many ups and downs.
With the tide all can row, but against tide its only- JOURNEY LINE which has taken the plunge; and for this we give the entire credit to our readers, without your blessing, good wishes, criticism, suggestions the journey of JOURNEY LINE wouldn't have been possible and this day wouldn't have been there.
Further the credit goes right from our hard working and dedicated Management, staff and other team mates to our hawkers who have made it possible.
Turbulent times have made us stronger and our resolve has been further strengthened. With the grace of the Almighty God we have improved the quality of the news, printing, circulation network and even e paper on social media platforms etc.
To match with the modern Information technology, we have pulled up our socks too."We have upgraded our hi tech website with URL: www.journeyline.in, and across the globe you can access the newspaper on its portal with just click of a button. Besides the web portal on which we update the news as it happens."Also we have an epaper, on which you can read the newspaper as it is; with its electronic version. We are regularly managing our Facebook page and twitter handle so that the news at the earliest is updated for our readers.
We reach millions on mobile phones, desktops and tablets, around the clock and across the globe, every day. We still cover in depth markets, economics, legal news and business, but in the past few years especially our range has expanded to include politics and world affairs, sports, fashion, leisure and the arts.
Now readers don't need to wait for the print edition, even the news as it happens can be browsed on the website and our Facebook page and also our Twitter handle.
While the other vernacular media is often guessing; JOURNEY LINE has been the first to report the correct news and many a times has been the leader in breaking news. Our many investigative stores and case report have gained acclaim amongst the readers and the circulation figures have increased manifold.
We at JOURNEY LINE still believe that much is yet to be achieved and our urge for perfection is insatiable. But to err is human, therefore while we are making efforts to make the publication error free, still in case the readers who are guiding spirit notice that an error has crept in are welcome to make any suggestions which shall be taken note of in high esteem.
Chief Patron JOURNEY LINE Mr. A.K.Sawhney and my brother Mr. Aseem Sawhney and our entire family joins me on this day to express gratitude to all the readers and well wishers without whom this would not have been possible.
JOURNEY LINE had played a vital role in guarding the freedom of press and stands for the unity, strength and freedom of press. There are so many other achievements and the firsts which JOURNEY LINE has acclaimed in this year but as Robert Frost has penned:"....The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep.
We still have miles and miles to go, before we sleep, but no milestone can be achieved without the Grace of God, and the wishes and cooperation of our readers.
I am overwhelmed with emotions and I am falling short of words to express the gratitude to the Almighty, our readers, my comrades, staffers, family etc who have supported the endeavor even by burning midnight oil to ensure despite problems that the newspaper is published and printed on time, and last but not the least I cannot forget the critics and competitors who fillip our energy with their quibbles. What also remains constant is our gratitude to our readers. As we mark this milestone, we rededicate ourselves to bringing you the news and analysis you rely on, however you want it delivered. In a fast-changing and complicated world, JOURNEY LINE stands committed to being your essential guide, engaging, informing and, we hope, delighting you along the way. All emotions and thoughts of the moment aptly in just two words."THANK YOU!!!
