GDC Purmandal celebrates “World No Tobacco Day, 2023”

JAMMU, Jun 1: Red-Ribbon Club in collaboration with NSS Unit and Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan Committee of the college organized a pledge taking ceremony to observe 'World No Tobacco Day'. The pledge was administered to the students and staff members by Prof. Shahima Akther [Nodal Officer, RRC]. Speaking on the occasion Principal of the college Prof. [Dr.] Raj Shree Dhar urged the student community to create awareness against usage of Tobacco products. She advised students to not consume tobacco and its related products. The programme was organized under the patronage of Prof. [Dr.] Raj Shree Dhar and coordinated by Prof. Shahima Akhter [Nodal Officer RRC], Co-coordinated by Prof. Mohammad Rafi [NSS PO] & Prof. Lakshmi Sohan [Convener Nasha Mukt Bharat Committee] with active support of Prof. [Dr.] Deepika Sharma.
