Idol of Sant Kabir installed at Sant Kabir Nagar Temple

JAMMU, Jun 2: Shiro-mani Sant Kabir Mandir Trust on Friday installed the Idol of Shiromani Sant Kabir at the temple of Sant Kabir at Sant Kabir Nagar, Village Kotli Gala Bana, RS Pura, here.
A colourful procession in the form of Jhanki carrying the statue of Shiromani Sant Kabir Sahib, bought from Rajasthan, passed through the Main Bazaar RS Pura under the supervision of President of the Shiromani Sant Kabir Mandir Trust, Chaman Lal. The devotees from Ram-garh, Kotli, Suchetgarh, Bishnah, Kalyana and Jam-mu participated in the function with singing of hymns of Sant Kabir. Thousands of devotees were welcomed by the main bazaar shopkeepers by serving them water and refreshments. Shiromani Sant Kabir Mandir Trust members present on the occasion were Darshan Kumar, Jeet Raj, Shashi, Balak Ram Master, Fateh Chand (Sarp-anch), Chander Gorkha, Romesh Kumar, Garu Ram, Dimple, Deepak, Surjeet Singh, Sarpanch Suraj Par-kash, Chairman Bhushan Lal Dogra, Anand Kalia besides Sham Choudhary (former Minister).
