‘Bye Bye Plastic Say Yes To Cloth Bags’ awareness organized by GGM Science College

JAMMU, Jun 4: NSS unit II GGM Science College under the patronage of worthy Principal Prof. Rajesh kumar Gupta and guidance of NSS PO Dr. Deepali Mahajan today started an awareness drive around GGM Science College outreaching the community as a part of Mission LiFE Clean India Say No to Single Use Plastic under the aegis of G 20 on the fourth day of summer camp celebrating world environment day. The polythene bags are non-biodegradable.
Even the animals consuming these polythene bags die an unnatural death due to the damage caused in their internal body system. NSS volunteers carrying posters chanting slogans Kapdeke bag kohankaho, Plastic ke bag ko nah kahourged the shopkeepers, rehriwalas and the people around to Say no to polythene bags "Bye Bye Plastic" as polythene bagstake up to 1000 years to decompose.
It is convenient to use reusable bags to carrying your fresh fruits, veggies & groceries made of clothes, jute, etc. The theme for World Environment Day on 5 June 2023 will focus on solutions to plastic pollution under the campaignBeat Plastic Pollution.
