Woman dies after hit by moving train in Budgam

SRINAGAR, Jun 4: A woman died after she was hit by a moving train in Budgam district on Sunday, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Raja Bano, wife of Abdul Rashid Dar and a resident of Galvanpora Budgam.
The woman was hit by a moving train in between Railway station Budgam and Mazhama resulting in her on the spot death, a railway official said.
He said a police party has reached the spot and taken away the body for legal medico formalities before handing her to relatives for last rites.
