11.50 grams of heroin recovered by PS Miran Sahib Jammu

JAMMU, Jun 4: Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 11.50 grams of heroin from two accused peddler in the jurisdiction of PS Miran Sahib.
A police team of PS Miran Sahib led by SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna assisted by SHO PS Miran Sahib Inspr Zaheer Mushtaq while on naka duty near Village Langotian area rounded up two suspected person namely 1. Showkat Ali S/o Sain Mohd R/o Chak Mohd. Yaar Tehsil R.S.Pura District Jammu and 2. Mohd. Hussain S/o Baz Din R/o Chak Mohd. Yaar, Tehsil R S Pura Distt. Jammu coming on their motorcycle bearing Registration No JK02DB-6851 from Langotian towards Miran Sahib side.
During search, 11.5 grams of heroin was recovered from their possession i.e 6 grams of heroin from accused namely Mohd. Hussain and 5.5 grams of heroin from accused namely Showkat Ali.
On this case FIR No. 111/2023 U/S 8/21/22/ 29/60 NDPS Act got registered at PS Miran Sahib and accused got arrested.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
