Gul, Rampaul distribute several items at JRC Udheywala

NC has always kept the interests of specially abled children in mind

Jammu, Jun 5: A programme was today organized by the Central Zone J&K National Conference (JKNC) at JRC Home for Handicapped, Udhaywala for reaching out to specially abled children and several items were distributed for use of deaf and dumb children of the home.
Former Speaker and senior NC leader, Mubarak Gul was the chief guest on the occasion whereas former Minister and Zonal President JKNC, Babu Ram Paul presided over the function. The program was organized by Dr Vikas Sharma, Zonal Secretary and Coordinator Jammu District (Urban), JKNC.
The NC leaders handed over ceiling fans and pedestal fans to the Home authorities for the use of Children. They also distributed eatables and shared their time with the specially-abled children residing in the home.
Mubarak Gul lauded the initiative of a young NC leader for organizing such programs which motivates everyone to come forward and extend helping hand in meeting the requirements of specially-abled people. He said, "It is our moral duty to come together for noble cause and maintained that his party cadre will continue to tread the path of humanity and humility."
Babu Rampaul while speaking on the occasion said that every children be it specially abled, is born with a talent and the need is to hone and shape their hidden talent. He also laid stress on skill oriented studies for these children to make them self dependent.
Rampaul further said that NC has always kept the interests of specially abled children in mind and assured them all possible help in the coming future also.
Former minister also assured the management that, if voted to power, the NC will make all possible efforts to ensure a dignified life for these children and vocational training institutes for specially abled children will be promoted to make them self dependent.
