General disappointment among the people with the Modi Govt: Sawhney

Jammu, Jun 6: Former Minister J&K Yogesh Sawhney Ex MLA Jammu East visited Ward No. 4 in Jammu East Constituency and interacted with the local residents on general issues and challenges. The locals apprised Sawhney of the day-to-day problems they have been facing. A myriad of issues came up during the discussions ranging from poor infrastructure, price-rise to lack of attention on the local issues. Sawhney said that there is a general disappointment among the people with the administration and the Centre as many challenges they're facing are being ignored and people feel helpless because of it.
During the visit, Sawhney also congratulated Raj Tilak Association Market President Ajay Kumar Kai, Chairman Vimal Mahajan, Vice President Chetan Mahajan and Manu Majahan, General Secretary Munish Sawhney, Secretary Jannu Mahajan, Anil Gupta, Jt. Secretary Amit Gupta & Avishisht Gupta, Working Committee Member Sunil Gupta, Dinesh Gupta, Vipin Kumar, Hira Singh, Kuldeep Gupta Nitin Gupta Advisor and Team and wished them Good Luck for future work.
Former Minister J&K Yogesh Sawhney Ex MLA Jammu East was accompanied by Varinder Singh Manhas, Pawan Dev Singh, Sat Pal Spolia, Rajesh Sharma, Ram Mangotra, Raj Kumar Meenia and others.
The former Minister stated that the people have expressed deep resentment against the Modi Government for abandoning the people after snatching statehood. Citing the Smart City program of the Government, Sawhney said that one walk through the streets of Jammu City will reveal the reality of the Smart City Program and how the government has duped the people. From roads to lanes and buildings, the infrastructure is extremely poor and there have been no real attempts by the administration to implement any development programs. People are being made to live in these poor conditions and on top of that, have to face the financial stresses of inflation and unemployment. Overall, it is a very dire and bleak situation, Sawhney said.
