Two courses commences at SKPAU

Udhampur, Jun 6: Two courses i.e. 05 days training programme on "Safety of Woman" sponsored by BPR&D New Delhi and 05 days training programme on "Cyber Forensics" commenced at Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy. 38 Police officers of different wings of J&K Police are participating in the courses.
On this occasion an inaugural function was organized, Shri Rajinder Kumar Gupta, JKPS, SSP, Dy. Director (Indoor) was the chief guest. Gupta welcomed all the course participants on behalf of the Director SKPA. In his inaugural address, he laid stress on the participating officers to enhance professional competence as investigating officers to investigate offences against women and children including Cyber Crime so that at the end of the day, the cases end in conviction. The course for Investigators on Safety of Women is designed to enhance the Investigation skills and knowledge of the latest provisions of law related to Safety of Women including POCSO, JJ Act, IT Act, etc. As for as the concerned of 05 days Cyber Forensic course, the agenda of the course is designed to enable the participants to collect Digital evidence, e-mail tracking, Mobile Forensics, IDPR etc. The eminent guest faculties from different institutes as well as this Academia are going to share their vast experiences with the course participants. The inaugural session was also attended by Dr.Kavita Suri, Director Lifelong learning Unive-rsity of Jammu, (Guest Faculty) Nayeem Abass Hamdani, Cyber Consultant and faculty of SKPA.
Course on "Safety of women" is being coordinated by Sanjeev Gupta, Inspector assisted by Inspector Vikrant Singh, and course on "Cyber Forensic" is being coordinated by Nayeem Abass Hamdani, Cyber Consu-ltant.
