MV International School celebrates activity day

JAMMU: MV International School organized and conducted a series of co-curricular activities for its student from Kinder garden wing to Class XII on 23rd July 14 during the morning session with in the school premises.
The main focus of the activities that were held was to bring out the hidden talent present in every student that he or she is unable to express during the regular academic classes. The teachers guided the students well in order to make their presentation more appealing and appreciation worthy.
The kindergarten toddlers were made to celebrate 'Red-Colour Day'. The little ones came dressed up all in beautiful and neat and red coloured dresses. They were given the task of recognizing various red colour objects around them like different red coloured fruits. Red colour being used as a symbol of love and compassion and also used in traffic lights to indicated danger or stop signal. It was an informative session.
The student of classes I & II enthusiastically recited Hindi poems in which each and every student enacted the same in front of their own class. The classes III, IV & V participated in 'Kavi Goshti'. Each student enthralled the class by their poetic sense along with short biography about the poet. The first position went to Suryansh (5-C), second to Tavleen Kour (5-C) and third to Haridhika (5-A). It was again to develop an understanding of our National Language Hindi by bringing out the rich cultural heritage that is losing out its importance and value. The students too brought out the deep rooted essence of the Hindi poetry with a class.
The students of Classes VI, VII & VIII were equally involved in presenting 'English Poetry'. It was an Inter House Competition that gave them a forum to show the flair of English poetry. The audiences were lost into the mesmerizing atmosphere. The winners were decided by the jury. The First position was bagged by Akariti Sharma (8-C, Newton House), Second position Gitanjali (7-B, Newton) and Third position was shared by Kashish (6-C, Edison) & Varun Slathia (6-C, Edison).
