5 killed, 16 injured in road accident in Udhampur

Udhampur: Five persons were killed and 16 others injured, seven of them seriously, when a passenger bus skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge in Udhampur district, police said.
The bus, which was on its way from Udhampur to Khor Gali, skidded off the road and rolled down into deep gorge at Dubi Gali area in the district last night, they said.
While four persons were killed on the spot, another succumbed to his injuries during treatment, they said adding, the injured have been hospitalised.
As per the reports passenger bus bearing reg. no. JK 02 F -4247 was carrying passengers and was on its way from Udhampur to Khor Gali at near Dubigali driver lost the control over the Vehicle. Deceased Persons identified as Raj singh R/O Katra (forest guard), Sunak Singh R/O lander (forest guard), Rukum Din age 55 years R/o Dubigali, Saif Din R/O Dubi gali .
