JAMMU: Change is imminent in Jammu and Kashmir and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is going to form its own government in the State after the assembly elections. These observations were made by PDP leader and candidate for Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment Amrik Singh Reen while addressing a joining function at Bahu Fort. Reen said that Jammu and Kashmir has been plunged into unprecedented crises due to failure of the government on all fronts. He pointed out that while the corruption has crossed all limits, the state government has failed to provide basic amenities like power and ration to the people.
"During the last nearly six years corruption has crossed all limits as the government lacks will to take on corrupt people. Many ministers and 'blue eyed' bureaucrats of the state have stand indicted in various scams but the government has failed to even pursue the process of legal prosecution against them", he pointed out, adding, "Corruption is too deep rooted, deeply entrenched and percolating right from the top has reached the grassroots only due to full political and official patronage of those at the highest seats of power".
Varinder Singh Sonu, Harmeet Singh, Deepak Handa, Ranbir Singh Manga, others were present on the occasion.
Manmohan Singh, Mohd Arshad, Sohan Singh, Salim Wani, Ajaz Baba, Suraj Kumar, Suraj Singh, Arjun Sharma, Bilal Ahmad, Sajjad Amhad, Talib Hussain Kamran Ahmad, Mufasil Malik, Nawaz Ahmad, Shahnawaz Malik are prominent who joined PDP.
